3 Ingredient Frozen Pupsicles

We are in the midst of summer, and it is HOT out, so I’m going to show you my fav way to help cool down my pups during these *lovely* heat waves. If your dogs are anything like mine, they love to lay in the sun all day and end up panting like crazy, so in addition to water, this is a fun and easy way to help cool them down.

Blueberry Banana Yogurt Treats

Ingredients:

3/4 Cup Unsweetened Plain Greek Yogurt

Make sure this is unsweetened. If your dog has a lactose intolerance, do not substitute for non-dairy yogurt (too many nuts are bad for dogs) you can substitute chicken or beef broth instead.

3/4 Cup Blueberries

Fresh, frozen, whatever you have. Be sure to avoid dried blueberries or any that have added sugar. You can use strawberries or cranberries too if you don’t have blueberries on hand.

Half a Peeled Banana

Supplies:

Freezer molds

I will link a few (just click on the image) but any mold that is freezer safe will do. Even popsicle molds or ice cube trays.

Blender

I really like the Ninja blenders but anyone you have will do! You can also hand mash the ingredients together.

Let’s make some treats!

Step 1

Gather ingredients, molds and blender

Step 2

Put all your ingredients in the blender for about 60 seconds or until blended

Step 3

Pour mixture into the mold and freeze!

Step 4

Remove from molds and let your treat tester evaluate!

Storage:

Once frozen in the tray I like to remove the treats and put them in a freezer bag. They will last for up to three months stored air tight.

I hope your pups enjoy!

Xox,

Charlie
