Pet Friendly in Banff
If you are looking for a pet friendly trip, I cannot suggest Banff, Canada quick enough!
We went in winter time and it was beautiful and snowy but we will definitely be going back in summer so we can do longer hikes and some lake activities!
Banff National Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Canada. We saw crystal blue lakes, tons of wildlife, mountains and the downtown area is super cute. It is very Swiss-esque.
Pet Friendly Stays:
Fairmont Banff Springs
Let’s start with THE luxury resort. Fairmont Banff Springs is absoultely gorgeous. Not only is this hotel pet friendly, but they also offer pet-sitting services and donate $15.00 of the pet cleaning fee to the Bow Valley SPCA!
The Rimrock Resort
The Rimrock Resort offers beautiful mountain views and lots of activities, including skiing, hiking, golfing, and spa treatments. The Rimrock also has several dining options, including the renowned Eden restaurant.
Rocky Mountain Resort
Banff Rocky Mountain Resort is just minutes from downtown and is very much “home away from home” with condo and suite style accommodations.
Moose Hotel & Suites
If you want to be right on Banff Avenue in the heart of Downtown, Moose Hotel & Suites is for you! This budget friendly option is super cute and has TWO rooftop hot tubs.
Pet Friendly Activities:
Watch the Wildlife
We saw so much wildlife in Banff. This cutie was right outside of our hotel and we saw multiple every morning just strolling around. Just be sure to not touch or feed them. Even if they look snuggly.
Go for a hike
There are so many hikes for your pup in the Banff area. Some easy favs are Johnson Canyon and Stoney Squaw. If you are more advances the Teahouse Trail and Sulphur Mountain Trail are beautiful. Don’t forget to check out the infamous Lake Louise and Moraine Lake!
Pet Friendly Eats:
Una Pizza + Wine
So many good vegetarian options. Una Pizza + Wine also has a pet friendly patio! Make sure you try the Brown Butter Roasted Cauliflower!
Bear Street Tavern
In the heart of downtown, Bear Street Tavern offers a smaller food menu but a HUGE drink list. A pet friendly patio and special dog menu means this is a must visit.
Banff was so beautiful and I hope you and your pup gets a chance to visit.
Hopefully you were able to get some inspo and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Instagram ♡
