Fall Essentials
Anyone else trying to build a capsule wardrobe?
I’ve found that in past years I always tend to splurge on trendy items and always struggle to find day to day outfits. So, this year it was my goal in invest in good quality basics that are transitional and versatile! I do love trendy pieces, but for me I think those trendy pieces can be less of a splurge and more cost friendly since they won’t be a staple or day to day piece.
This is by far my fav blog post thus far and Fall is 100% my favorite season in terms of fashion. They are so many pieces, layers, and styles you can do! With that being said, here are the pieces I am investing in this year:
1. Trench Coat (or any long camel coat)
You can dress this up with a sweater dress or keep it casual with jeans and a hoodie layered underneath. My pick is the Cassie coat from Princess Polly.
Leather jackets are perfect for Fall because they are so warm and easy to layer. Throw on some jeans or leggings, add a pair of dad sneakers and you have a Hailey Bieber street chic outfit! My pick is this Moto Jacket from Revolve.
Oversized blazers are such an important staple to have. You can wear these throughout any season and they are so incredibly versatile to dress up or down. The Zara blazers come out on top for me and every season I buy the new colors!
4. Jeans
A staple pair of jeans is a must. I tried on the 90’s Pinch Waist Jeans by Agolde and they changed my whole view on jeans. They look expensive and fit like a glove!
Melina pants from Aritiza. Of Course. Is there even other leather pants on the market? The perfect high waist with the right amount of stretch.
My go to for Fall sweaters is always H&M and Zara. They are affordable and good quality. I CANNOT wait to wear sweaters and drink hot chocolate at the pumpkin patch. Fav chunky sweater linked here.
Moving on with the sweater theme, striped sweaters are going to be big this year and I think they are super cute and a staple piece. My pick is the V-neck Striped Sweater from Zara.
8. Shoes
Loafers, booties, knee highs, ankle Ugg’s, dad shoes, you name it. With the right outfit you can pull off any shoe in Fall. On my list this year are the William Boots and Approach Black Loafers from Steve Madden.
I hope you found some inspo and can’t wait to see your outfits!
